hi Kat,

You don't know me. I'm a sometime lurker on mudcat really, only contribute a little, and have been for the last 10 years or more, and I always so appreciate your part in making mudcat the place it is. You come across as a very warm, very wise, and very smart individual! Anyhow, just sorry to hear that things are being tough for you at the moment.

Here is a song for you (not written by me, I hasten to add!) but the best I can offer by way of a 'hope you feel better soon' kind of present whilst simply sitting at my keyboard... I like the 'But the sun will swing the seasons, And ever win the day' line.

GOOD INTENTIONS (Paul Metsers)

It's one day we'll go sailing
Oh you, my love, and I
We'll take us down to the water
Where fair the waters lie

   And then, with good intentions
We'll try our debts to pay
But the sun will swing the seasons
   And ever win the day

Then one day we'll go climbing
Come closer to the stars
And hope that those in spaceships
Will leave them as they are

And one day we'll start building
We'll use what comes to hand
We'll join what comes together
And bind what needs a band

Melrose Quartet - Good Intentions
