The Iraq & Afghan wars and the respective aftermaths are indeed obscene. The British public had no choice in those either. All was (and still is) a horrendous waste of money and lives.

But right now it is the Big Shen that is attracting front page news and not all is positive. When it comes to installing guided missiles on top of blocks of residential flats and not consulting the residents then something is very wrong.

But both the wars and the Olympics are really all about corporate greed.
