The reason I don't go to folk clubs is lack of time - inaccessible meeting rooms ie up 4 flights of dangerous stairs. Being a working musician it has to be someone special to drag me out of an evening or at weekend I have to say that our local in E17 the Rose and Crown do go good stuff although I pass on the political or agitprop material
