Dear Art, I'm very late to this lengthy and worrisome discussion, but wanted to add my voice to the chorus of well-wishers who are pulling for you. You should know that I woke up thinking about you this morning. My alarm was set to NPR, and the very first thing I heard was a story about 1,600 turtles being released from a Georgia turtle farm (vandals broke the fences) and making the great escape to nearby waterways. The idea of 1,600 turtles making a cross-country getaway was quite a picture--and it put me in mind of your wonderful Great Turtle Drive story. Thanks for that--and so much else.
