Tyke Whitby singing/club sessions? (64* d) RE: Whitby singing/club sessions? 31 Jul 12

For those who were in the room they will have noted that Chris followed me into the room and sat down next to me. When I started to sing a quiet subtle song (Over the Water to Charlie) that is mainly chorus. Chris lent across the front of me and started a conversation with Harry. This ignorant rudeness was spoiling the song and apart from being off putting for myself was also saying to the other people in the room that this was acceptable behaviour. Well it's not its pig ignorant! I stopped song at that point Chris still did not take the hint it was then I produced my Roland Mobile Cube and Sure Microphone. Placing it on the Table and pointed it at Chris he still did not take the hint.

Eventually Chris went to stand at the Bar where he stood quietly until some considerable time later and in my turn started to sing again without using the Mobile Cube. Guess what! Chris came over started up a conversation with the person sitting next to me. He was apparently complaining that the Mobile Cube was distorting the music! This was total news to me as I had not turned it on at this point!! I have contacted Roland (the manufacturers) to ask how this was possible however so far they have not been able to come up with a reason. Chris continued to stand directly in front of me placing a barrier between myself and the other Musicians and Singers. Those who know me will have noticed that I invariably encourage others to join in with me. But if they can't hear me or see the Chords that I am playing it they can't!

Chris states that he is "I am truly sorry if I have brought an element of some conflict and negativity to this thread". Well he always say's that he is sorry for his negativity when he contributes his wisdom as a member of the Folk Police. I kid you not just click on the Blue From Soldier Boy tag and it will take you to all his contributions to the Mudcat were he his sorry for his negativity.

Chris to my knowledge has never complained about the portable amps worn on the belts of the Musical Group Free Sandwiches!

Chris also states "I have no intention to upset anyone and if I do upset George" well if you click on my Blue Tyke tag you may notice that I have all but stopped contributing to the Mudcat since 2011 after being STALKED by Chris. Most of the his contributions that threatened and were full of abuse have been deleted as they were not only personal offensive but we do have Laws in the UK that deal with Cyber Bullies which the Mudcat are well aware and is the reason Chris has had his post deleted.

Now the good news! Joe Offer has kindly offered to get other people to post any "FOLK" events that I am trying to promote. I leave you with a link to a demonstration of Roland's Mobile Cube as a lot of people have expressed an interest in it. In this demo the cube is amplified again through a much bigger Amp so turn your volume down! Just enough volume to improve the acoustics is recommended by me to improve the acoustics in the room for an acoustic sound. Great for lifting your sound so you can play finger style Guitar so it can be heard. Roland Mobile Cube
