Hi; as non locals we had no knowledge of the "local politics" and it is to the credit of Tony and other LAMP folks that no "dirt" was dished to punters like us. The information in this thread enabled us to deduce that the event had previously been held at Staithes, had moved to Roxby and that the original Staithes venue was holding an event on the same weekend. It was not confusing in the least and several attenders at Roxby (ourselves included) did travel into the Cook at Staithes but found that little was happening. The Roxby gathering was super and we shall certainly support it again.
