I lost both my Grandfathers. My father and his six brothers, he being the youngest, all served in the 2nd War. Unfortunately only 5 survived.
My father, one of the few remaining members of the local Royal British Legion, continues to sing at the Rememberance Parade Service. I wasn't home in Scotland this year, but last year I was, and to see the pain in my fathers face during those few hours makes me believe that we should never forget.
