I was debating online with a young-earth creationist who stated that radiometric readings of rocks are off by a full geologic age. I asked for proof and he printed an article written by Dr. Andrew A. Snelling who sported some impressive credentials. It seemed like a well-written article until I got to the end where he starts reassuring "Christians" that the faulty testing methods of science cannot overthrow all the evidence of Noah's Flood. I did some checking on Snelling and found the following article. Now, it seems to me that this man is committing fraud with his credentials--writing in full scientific mode for money and a name in his field but writing as a creationist "missionary" for reasons I cannot fathom. He must have some deep-down belief in this stuff that compels him to pull this Jekyll and Hyde routine but it seems to me his degrees should be taken away from him for it because he is using his credentials and peer-reviewed writings to misrepresent himself. http://www.noanswersingenesis.org.au/realsnelling.htm
