One of America's foremost interpreters of contemporary and traditional folksongs, Debra Cowan comes from Massachusetts and tours regularly throughout the U.S. and the British Isles. She sings traditional songs from Appalachia and the British Isles, maritime songs, and also contemporary songs, and can make the old songs live again.
