Our mail-in ballots went out this morning. I've been very glad for the existence of the internet as I've researched all the issues over the last few days. Oddly, I even ended up voting for a Republican for Lt. Governor. He turned out to be a lot more progressive than the Democrat and got the endorsements from some of the environmental groups and from NARAL. We don't have polling places anymore in Washington State. I like the convenience and money-saving aspects of all mail-in ballots, but I miss going to the polls and meeting my neighbors as we take part in our democracy.
