Update. It seems that Photoupz and Inpaint may actually be the same software but with a few minor differences. This observation is based on two things. One, the tools are almost identical. Second, the manual for Photoupz refers to the tools as the "Inpaint marker icon" and the "Inpaint Guiding Line Icon". However, Photoupz contains a sharpening tool that I have found to be, though simple, very effective. It also contains a re-sizing tool that works quite well. I think the Inpaint software I have tried is an earlier version. It only includes the erasure tools which do work quite well. I thought that both programs handled the erasure and fill functions very well. Some cases better than others, and in all cases were much faster than the clone tools in other software I am using. There are some projects where I may have to use the clone tool for a little cleanup, but I am a satisfied customer.
