Apologies,999, I had lazily assumed you were from the US. I think my comment was more prompted from the (long) run-up to the US election, where accusing the other side of being traitors seemed to be par for the course. We accuse our politicians of being corrupt, crooks, incompetent, immoral etc etc but rarely traitors. I accept we used the term historically, but it seems to have fallen largely out of use in UK in my lifetime, but not across the Atlantic. 'Undermine your own economy and get away with it' does seem a better title for the thread. There never seem to be enough characters available for thread titles.
