Guran - "Strangely enough the matter of "bellows articulation" has been quite prominent in accordion tuition since 1950s" Wow - I bought my first accordion in 1956 (£5 in a second-hand shop in a run-down area of Liverpool) and ever since all I've ever heard is the importance of an indiscernible change of direction with the bellows. Since playing for the Morris (going on 30 years) I've been struggling to develop a technique of "using the left hand as a bow" - and lecturing about it to anyone who I thought would listen! - thought I'd invented it myself!
