GUEST,Michael Info on Paul Siebel (39) RE: Info on Paul Siebel 15 Dec 12

Nashville Again   Paul Siebel

D                   G    D             G               A
It's a long way to Nashville, but I've seen that road before.
                                        D
Here's hopin' that she knows me when I stand outside her door.
          G                   A
But some wind came up this evening
       D                G
All the stars have gone away
             A            G         A
And there'll be a storm before the dawn
       G          D    A   D
But I can't turn back no more.

It's been a year since I seen her,
It's been a year spent underground
I've told the wind a thousand times
I didn't mean to let her down
With promises of seasons
That all left the frozen trees
Now silent rumors tell
She's done quite well
With a new love she has found.

Interlude

If she's found herself a good deal,
well then I guess I can't complain
Just kiss her once for good luck,
ask her what might be his name.
And we can toss'em all the good times and
seek out her rainbow signs
But I have loved too long to be that strong,
And I hope it doesn't rain.

Repeat 1st verse.

I took this off the album "Paul Siebel" I have received much help and pleasure from folks who upload lyrics and chords, so i hope this one little effort of mine makes up for it all. chuckle chuckle
and a note: i notice when i preview, that the chords are somewhat to the left of where they should be. y'all can probably figure it out when you play it.
