I was considering opening a new BS thread about this , but it probably belongs here ...I predict that within the next ten years there will be several, widely reported and discussed predictions of the end of the world, and/or of the second coming of Christ. 2011 had only the one (or maybe it counts as two) false predictions, ie Harold Camping's double forecast of doomsday on May 21st and again on October 21st. 2012 was unusually fruitful in this respect ...we had two high profile individual predictions ...Ron Weinland's forecast that Christ would return on March 27th proved fallacious (unless, of course, Christ is maintaining an uncharacteristically low profile) and the Mayan doomsday prediction of 21st December doesn't seem to have materialised either. I further predict that the oncoming predictions within the next ten years will prove to be equally fallacious.
