And in a rugby stadium or similar, the urinal is a long stainless steel trough. It's a squeeze there, never mind the two rows behind who are pushing for the next free gap. It's true that it's about social conventions. Cycling 60 years ago, we were at Chepstow Castle car park when a coach pulled in with a party of women. When they found that they would have to pay twopence to use the facilities, their leader said "This way, girls" and they all used the space between the coach and the stone wall.
