A trip down memory lane.
Fond memories indeed.
Bought a 70 dart 4-door new.
Incredible amount of room.
I still remember the price $2788.
Did all the maintenance and repairs.
Reliable and easy to service.
Not a fond memory: Replaced the water pump in an uheated garage in subzero weather. It was a race against time and hypothermia.
Slowly rusted away.
A 4-year stint in Buffalo NY didn't help matters.
Stopped driving it in 80.
It sat in the driveway for a while.
Nobody wanted it for a trade-in and I didn't see any point in advertising it.
Finally a guy comes buy and offers $100 for it.
I hated to see it go.
