Her racist snipes at Obama did her in. The pubbies are desperately seeking minorities. I hear some saying that they might even run Colin Powell in '16. Assuming Powell was onboard with that, there will still have to be some severe bloodshedding within the party as the Old Guard white racists try to maintain a control they have already lost and a New Guard will have to wrest that control away with a viable plan for the future. New image, new rhetoric, new slogans, new faces--all that will be necessary but it takes time to sink in. It won't be ready by '16 and I think the GOP knows it but it's looking beyond that. They laid down with hate and must now wash off that stench. Getting rid of Palin who represents an image of white privilege preening itself before the public isn't in the future plans. They MUST find a new image before anything else can happen. I'm enjoying every minute of it--LLLOOONNNGGG overdue.
