Hey, Harpwizard, welcome! I'm one of a small number of harmonica players (probably none of us wizards) here to greet you. I play some blues harp, some old-timey and bluegrass and folk, etc. I used to consider harmonica my second instrument (behind whatever string instrument I was focusing on at the time) but now that I've more or less abandoned other strings for the banjo, I've come to believe that harmonica is my most natural instument--if that makes any sense (I practice the hell out of the banjo without much noticeable improvement; the harp I never practice but I play my best breaks and back-up ornaments by far on it. If I had discovered the instrument early enough...or even if I could figure out circular breathing...
Anyway, welcome to the 'cat. We haven't had good harp talk here in quite a while. By the way, what are your favorite instruments? Mine are the Lee Oskars: major diatonic for blues and bluegrass, Melody Makers for old timey and country, and I also find a bit of use for the natural minors, particularly in Irish and eastern European music.
