Northern Streams is a two day festival of Scandinavian and Scottish music, song and dance in Edinburgh on 26-27 April 2013. Further details below, as well as on our website at www.northernstreams.org.

Northern Streams is hosted by the Traditional Music and Song Association of Scotland (TMSA), Edinburgh and the Lothians branch. This is our tenth year and we are really excited to have musicians from Denmark, Norway and Sweden and Scotland joining us.

This year's artists include:
Dynamic Danish duo Hal and Nikolaj;
Beautiful acapella harmonies from the North Sea area with Swedish trio Irmelin;
Beautiful fiddle playing from Swedish/Scottish fiddler Kirsty-Jacqueline Lingard;
Norwegian and Gaelic song and tunes from award-winning duo Rona Wilkie and Marit Falt;
Astonishing Danish dance from 3 Men and a Bottle!

Northern Streams hosts two evening concerts and a number of workshops for both adults and children. Tickets can be bought for individual events but there is a very reasonably priced weekend ticket which covers everything (only £27/£21). Tickets go on sale soon - watch the website or get in touch here to get your names on the waiting list!

Join us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/events/513167955392872/
and follow us on Twitter @northernstream1.

Hope to see some of you there!
