I am suddenly transferred for a few months from Washington DC to near Portsmouth in England (Titchfield is where I will be working, but I don't know where I will be living). Can anyone point me to some folksinging in the area? I know that when the Boarding Party toured in around 1983, we had a magic evening in a club in Portsmouth, but I have long forgotten the identity of it. Seems like there ought to be chance to sing a shanty or two in that vicinity (yes, I know, no shanties in the Royal Navy, but still...)
