Thanks, Sean L. I like the idea of using Ingonish (the place on Cape Breton Island) in the lyric, regardless of what the original singer who used Ingo meant. In has Ingo in it, and it's a real place that's both on the sea and "far across the briny sea" (if you're singing in Ireland or Scotland). |
