I can't speak for the US DVD, but the UK one has a couple of excellent documentaries about the area where Winters Bone was filmed and the real people living there. The documentaries are as clear-eyed, honest and unpatronising as the film itself. Great movie, presented in its DVD incarnation with real love and care.
