matt milton Vintage v300 guitars (6) RE: Vintage v300 guitars 06 Apr 13

it does seem to be the mahogany versions that have had all the rave reviews, rather than the spruce.

I was going to get one myself, until I decided to go for one of Recording King's all-solid mahogany (rather than laminate) guitars.

I once played Vintage's cheapest Jumbo size guitar - I forget the model number - and thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Not sure why - the tone wasn't amazing or anything - think it was just a guitar that happened to suit my hands and fingers and arms really well. Almost regret not buying it, but Ive got too many guitars as it is.
