Greetings from one who is silent but present most of the time. Today is my mother's 87th birthday; she is a brilliant, loving, courageous woman who finished raising three geeky, emotional children from 1975 on when my father left the family. Ironically, today is also the 5th anniversary of his death, not the first but the last goodbye after so many. My mother will be coming for supper, injecting her rainbow energy into what would otherwise be a day of regretful memories. Love to you all.
