G'day yet again ... , Then I did some other background checking ... and noticed that Wolsely's mechanical sheep shears ... having been inspired and engineered up in Australia ... were tested and pronounced effective - in Britain from about a year earlier ... so that this published text comes just before the hand-shearing tradition is about to be replaced by machine-shearing!
