Barbara, Have you tried a small cordless mike that attaches to the whistle itself, they are designed for flutes , but work very well with whistles. (I run the cord up my sleeve to the transmitter on my belt.) They are pricey ,but work great. Sue, A girl after my own heart....if this was a different kind of forum I would be asking your sign... :-) Have you tried a low G? I have built a few using Sweetone mouth pieces, they work pretty good. They almost require no breath at all on the lower notes. I have been thinking about nickle plating a Sweetone body to see how it affects the tone. (Wouldn't gold be Sweet?) I found that local places will plate w/ nickle or gold for under 10 bucks.
