DFP begins at 8pm in the Dun Cow with a singaround, Saturday from 12 noon we're back singing in the Dun Cow, at 8pm we sing in the Rowing Club, Sunday we use the Dun Cow again with the Garden Party afterwards at the Rowing Club with the Survivors' Session at 8pm in the Rowing Club While we are singing, the dance teams will be strutting their stuff and an innovation this year is the launch of a curragh from the Rowing Club, crewed by people dressed as monks who will row up river, park (wrong word I know) their boat and process up to the cathedral accompanied by two dance teams with an afternoon "Goose Fair" below Elvet Bridge. This event is to do with the Lindisfarne Gospels exhibition and is organised By Dave Purvis, the coracle man, in conjunction with Bede's World at Jarrow. On Monday, we rest! There is nothing quite like DFP especially this year!
