First workshop of a new session will explore a fine historical ballad -- lots of passion and a great tune. We're looking to make sense of the history, and to find a convincing way to meld text and tune. We meet in Avant Garde, King Street, Glasgow from 1pm till 3pm - but the bar opens at 12.30pm and staff serve a fine bowl of soup! If you'd like to be part of our efforts, PM me to book a place or Google Glasgow Ballad workshop and follow through for the blue clicky link as booking is advised (helps us to bring the right number of copies on the day!). Would be lovely to welcome some 'Catters.
