Veteran Scottish folksinger Tich Frier has announced his decision to retire from full time activity on the folk music scene in September 2014.
The decision has been reached after almost fifty years of constant gigging up and down the motorways of Britain and many trips abroad.
Age, health and travel issues have taken their toll and Tich has decided it's time to cut back.
Any clubs or festivals who fancy one last night of songs and humour with this seasoned performer between March and September 2014 can contact Tich through his website: www.tichfrier.co.uk
After that, other propositions will be given consideration but will have to come under the headings of - "interesting, handy or Burns".
His new DVD - "Moving Target" is released in mid September this year.
