San Francisco Maritime National historical Park has re-opened now that the govt. shutdown is over, and I'm pleased to announce that the next concert is on!

On Saturday, October 26, 8pm - 10pm, the 25th annual Sea music Concert Series continues with a night of traditional Irish music. SHAY BLACK is the elder brother of Ireland's "first family of song," the Black Family. Shay sang with Stan Hugill in Liverpool's legendary shanty group Stormalong John, and the Irish bsnd Garva before settling in the San Francisco Bay Area.He tours with family members Mary, Frances, Michael and Martin, and hosts a Sunday night Irish music and song session.

AMELIA HOGAN, singing unaccompanied, has for 30 years graced stages from Killarney to New York.

THE JAMMY DODGERS is a hot, new band performing traditional Irish music on flute, fiddle, concertina, banjo and guitar.

Tickets will also be available at the door on concert night, beginning 7:30pm (at entrance to Hyde Street Pier).
