        Pete is 'one of the most important folk artists in Britain' (Mojo Magazine) a singer, musician & dancer steeped in British traditional music. He played with the hugely influential New Victory Band, Bandoggs & Red Shift & founded Ryburn 3 Step. He has a great knowledge of ballads & broadsides & writes his own songs in fine traditional style. Pete plays melodeon, banjo, bouzouki & Appalachian dulcimer.
        In the workshop Pete will perform & discuss some classic ballads & narrative broadsides, with fascinating background about their sellers & printers.
*You are invited to bring at least one ballad or broadside to sing & talk about.

If your choice has already been taken we will let you know so that you can choose another. If in doubt about what counts as a ballad, please use the contact email or phone to ask.
