        Pete is 'one of the most important folk artists in Britain' (Mojo Magazine) a singer, musician & dancer steeped in British traditional music. He played with the hugely influential New Victory Band, Bandoggs & Red Shift & founded Ryburn 3 Step. He has a great knowledge of ballads & broadsides & writes his own songs in fine traditional style. Pete plays melodeon, banjo, bouzouki & Appalachian dulcimer.
        In the workshop Pete will perform & discuss some classic ballads & narrative broadsides, with fascinating background about their sellers & printers.
*You are invited to bring at least one ballad or broadside to sing & talk about.
IN THE EVENING PETE & SUE COE PERFORM AT THE ELEPHANT & CASTLE

Provisional Timetable

Pete will perform & discuss some classic ballads & narrative broadsides, with fascinating background about their sellers & printers.

* You are invited to bring at least one ballad to sing & talk about. To avoid clashes with other contributors, please state your preferred ballad in advance. If your choice has already been taken we will let you know so that you can choose another. If in doubt about what counts as a ballad, please use the contact email or phone to ask.
