I agree with Guest c - if (and i'm sure they're right)scientists have determined that smoking is dangerous and injurious to health why is it still permitted? I gave up smoking recently (again!) and currently get my hit from nicotine chewing gum. Making such products (including e-cigarettes) available form pharmacies would still allow people their addiction but remove most, if not all, of the dangers associated with smoking tobacco. In the UK we have seen the gradual banning of tobacco advertising and display - plus the ostracisation of users (banning smoking in pubs and other public places) - yet still the bloody stuff is legal to buy and use. Well, we know the answer don't we? Tax revenues.
