Never heard of the actor or the films, and I consider myself a movie buff. Would these be B movies or further down the alphabet?

Originally, a "B" movie was one that was intended as the second feature on a double bill.

There aren't many double bills these days, but the second Billy Jack feature (counting Born Losers as the first) was quite successful in its time, though not highly regarded today.

It's worth a look, if only as a curiousity of that era in American history, most libraries should have it; if yours does not, you can get it on an interlibrary loan I am sure.
