Finally did it. Got the old region 1 VHS tapes of my daughters in various highschool concerts and plays off to a professional transfer company. They will be set on long play, converted to region 2 and copied to DVDs. I have been putting this off since Andie passed away. I will have to force myself to watch the DVDs when the job is done to check they are all there and the quality of the recordings. The VHS tapes date back to 1996 through 2000. My plan once I have the DVDs is to tease out the bits with my girls in and post them to Youtube. I have mixed feelings about this. I am hoping that if I approach the task with specific purpose then I won't get mired down in sadness.

Still waiting on the job thing to find out if and where I will be placed in the new restructure. Not too fussed about it this time around. I don't have the energy to waste on anxiety. I will try to quietly accept whatever happens, glean the good and possibly move on plans that have been on hold due to no energy after a day of work.

Wednesdays off work. If I keep a job then I will insist that the Council honour the working pattern suggested and agreed by occupational health and my GP. I hope to have someone in to clean every other Wednesday using the extra benefit money I have been awarded. On alternate Wednesdays hold a crafting group with a few interested friends.

TheSilentOne (husband) has decided to stay in his IT lecturing post for another full year. We have 2 things need doing before he can retire and we can move.
    1. Replace the 1970s original kitchen which is literally falling apart. I have saved more than half of the cost of this project, by April or May I should have it all. There will be some structural change and expensive move of the electric panel and fuse board in order to make it safe, compliant and create more storage and work space.
    2. Buy up 40+years on the lease hold since the 3 separate groups of solicitors have failed to secure the purchase of the free hold for our flat over the last 7 years. This is the very expensive cost. We are trying to get together a group of flat owners in on a combined purchase in order to reduce the solicitor costs. Big fear is that the solicitors will "f" it up again.

Getting fit. I am hoping that the monthly anti - TNF injections will start working soon. I have only had 2 full doses. If I can get rid of the pain in bottoms of my feet (like they are covered in stone bruises), then I will deal with the hips and and ankles seizing up. Maybe start each craft meet with a walk, bulding speed and length each time. And finish each meet with some tai chi or qigong.

Diet. This is a tuffy. Needs more thought.
