Rick, I share your feeling of 'belonging'. My first time on stage was when I was a freshman in college. I went to the open mike at The Cellar Door on Sunday night with a partner. I recall feeling 'natural' and centered. Two songs and it was over really fast. That was 1964. After some 36 years of performing, off and on, for me it's never been about the power, it's the connection. When the circuit is closed between myself and the audience the energy flows both ways. regards Chance
