Anyone else here stupid enough to have bought an ACER G215H monitor for a desktop computer? If so, can you tell me how to adjust the screen settings? I've spent over three hours between trying to figure out the five unmarked control buttons, googling for the information, and even calling up the owner's manual (it doesn't help because it doesn't tell you which button is which)

The five unmarked buttons on the bottom of the screen seem to work in an almost random way. Occasionally, through trial and error, I will get one of the buttons to display a menu for brightness, contrast, color balance, etc, but then neither than button, nor any of the other four buttons will then scroll up or down. I randomly found a button that WOULD scroll up and down once, so I did that and got to the brightness, but then there was no way to select it or change it.

There is a factory setting that you can sometimes call up with the right sequence of buttons -- I can't duplicate the sequence, but I've had that menu come up. When it does, I can scroll from left to right and change it from "eco" to "Graphics" to "user" and two others. When I do that, I can see the monitor change, but as soon as I then close out the menu, the monitor reverts back to what it was before selecting.

The monitor as it is is so light that I can't navigate any pages that have that easy-on-the-eyes grey outlines. They simply don't appear on the monitor. Anything similarly light simply doesn't appear on the monitor.

If I do go to the "eco", the monitor looks darker -- but then it's overall darker -- almost as though a dark film is placed over it. Along with the lightness goes the definition. It's muddy. And even so, since the contrast is not improved, I still can't see pale things on the monitor.

I have looked in vain for even a picture online that will tell me the function of the five buttons on the bottom of the monitor.

Help?
