years ago someone posted a link to a diary of life in a very snowy suburb/town in North America. Items in the yard like cars & 6' fences etc, slowly disappeared under the normal winter snow. Householder puts on skis to visit neighbours, loyal dog follows (looking like the dog in old dude's pic), cat takes a look & says 'Ya gotta be joking' or maybe 'Stupid Dog' before returning to the fire. I wish I'd kept the link cos the daily pics fascinated me. sandra (who has only once seen snow after travelling hundreds of miles to the Snowy Mountains)
