There is no CCS being done. It is not known if it will ever be done. There are only approx 28,000 plug in electric cars in the US. If you have other facts, please present them instead of your talking points and vicious ad hominem attacks. "If we had" does not point to a fact. "CCS could be done" is not a fact until it is being done. Actually the use of "if" and "could" indicate things that have not happened and therefore are not of any substance. And where are any facts to support your talking point about the deficit "was" cut in half? Carbon Capture and Storage is a losing propositon as it is estimated to require an additional 30% to 40% of the plant's electrical output to accomplish this task. In addition, coal plants already utilize 12 to 15% of their produced energy to clean their emissions (precipitators for ash, SO2 & NOX removal for the bad GHG gasses); and they still produce volumes of GHG gasses.
