The idiocy of our current US Congress to try to stop the study of
climate change (by halting funding) prompted me to write this song.

I found internet trivia saying 20% of the US population thinks the
sun rotates around the earth, and another 10% don't know. This ignorance is the fertile ground for anti-intelligence demogogues like
climate change deniers Senator Drivel Imhoff and Randy Paul.

Was this Osos catastrophe caused both by clearcutting and an "unusual
weather event" related to climate change?
