Extra Stout Lighting a candle for the Smith Twins (89* d) RE: Lighting a candle for the Smith Twins 24 Dec 00

Micca's citing the laws of physics was a comforting reminder of the unity underlying the limits of the speed of light and the power of prayer; both expressions of the power of a loving ( if occasionially inscrutable)God. I found a good, big wax candle for my house, and I'll add one at Old St. Patrick's( Toledo, Ohio) this morning. I'm new to Mudcat, so give me a break, please, if I come off as pushy, insensitive, or ignorant, but I wonder if the Smiths are in need of a more concrete expression of solidarity and support than e-mails and candles. Wes and Bretta, can we send you blankets or sleepers? Do you have diaper pins and pacifiers? Can we help pay for nurses or sitters? Is there anything you wish we would do? One or two writers mentioned the power of Patrick's name. It's my Confirmation name and my son's middle name. Maybe all the Paddys pulling together can do some good. Speaking of concrete expressions of support, for what good it may do, I am Marty Brogan. I live at 4828 Monac Drive, Toledo, Ohio,43623. My phone is 419-474-3883,e-mail to mbrogan@ireland.com or MJBrogan@peoplepc.com. This information is to be used for Mudcat purposes only. Anyone sharing these addresses with insurance salesmen or home improvement contractors will be hunted down and dealt with.
