Just was reading the other day that Bob Dylan's handwritten lyrics for the song, "Like A Rolling Stone" are up for auction and expected to get $1 Million dollars or more. It is four pages written in pencil on stationary from a hotel in Washington, D.C. Sotheby's auction says it is the only known surviving draft of the lyrics for this song. Article goes on to say that the historic sheets include additional words and phrases. Dylan made multiple attempts to rhyme his trademark phrase, "how does it feel," including "it feels real" "shut up and deal" 'get down and kneel" and "raw deal." Two pages of Dylan's "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall" are also on the block and are expected to bring up to $600.000. Opening bid anybody? :-))
