I have sung at ABOFOTS when Paul was running it. I found it was unwise to argue with him, as he would shorten one's set as a penalty (mind you, the audience thought that it was a good idea!). I looked forward to our regular banter sessions at the Club, and will now have to find someone else with whom I can have slanging matches. Yes, he was one of a kind, and the number of people who attended his memorial service (from within and without Australia) was the final testament to his popularity. The Australian folk community will be very much the poorer for his passing, but richer for his having been here. Save me a seat in the front row, Paul. Shimbo
