Do let me know what the outcome is, I would be interested in coming occasionally if a session does materialise, unfortunately I could not guarantee my availability to help in organisation, but good luck with it.
Possibilities might be, The Rising Sun, or Red Lion in Sidford/Sidbury, The Balfour At woolbrook, The Black Horse. The upstairs Room at The Anchor, where the Singers currently meet would seem to be a good bet, as they are already hosting a Folk song session there. there is also the sailing club, or the Marine bars which has recently had a revamp, and is trying to shed its rather "seedy" image.
