There was a folk duo husband & wife who I saw in a small venue in Southern, California in the mid-or late 1990's. I cannot recall their names but the husband was disabled.(something with his legs I believe). The wife (not disabled) had long blondish/brown hair. I believe they were from the mid-west (maybe Minnesota) but not 100 % sure of that. I think they wrote most of their own songs and were really good singer/songwriters. I only saw them the one time when they were out in California and I have been trying to recall their names. I remember this one song they wrote (I think the husband wrote it) and it was a song about an adventure in Mexico (Mazatlan) It was a very long song and told a "true" story of travels there. If anyone might know who this duo is please post message. The husband was definitely disabled - but not sure the extent. They had a few CDs or tapes - maybe 3 out at the time. It is not Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen (husband/wife duo) Probably not quite as well known.
