Amergin, I have just a few suggestions, one of which is sort of vague. The first one is to check at Artichoke Music to see if there's a listing of guitar teachers, the second is to look around at other local cafes and bookstores (I know I've seen flyers for guitar teachers around town), and then there's a group class (I think) that's run by a guy named Chick Rose which is $35.00 for 8 weeks. The only problem with this last suggestion is that I can't tell you how to reach him directly; the person who told me about it didn't have the phone number with her at the time and told me to listen to the Sat. am folk music listings on KBOO.
