I never knew Tex, but I'm glad I know him now. A few months ago I watched "Hold-Up" for the first time, and Tex's character really stood out to me. He was like a combination of Paul Bunyan and Bluto. I loved the movie, and when I love a movie I look deeper into it. After hearing Tex's only song on YouTube, I realized what a talent and a legend Tex was. I managed to buy a copy of his album on the internet and have been enjoying it ever since. I hope to convert them soon and put them on YouTube, for everyone to enjoy. I've loved reading these stories about him, and he truly comes to life in them. It's nice to see he's still being thought of, even fifteen years later.
