On a (vaguely) more serious note - I don't usually do New Year Resolutions, but in the light of assorted things I found out recently about assorted men - linked to me, biologically and otherwise, and not linked to me personally at all - my resolutions are to carry a rape alarm at all times and take self-defence classes.
