Skewball's a classic Bertsong, IMO - check out the broadsheet versions sometime. Jim: "Ugly people doing bad performances of boring songs" I think it's a misrepresentation of what i actually said. That part was aimed at Al & Musket, who never seem to have heard a traditional song (or seen a singer of traditional songs) that they liked. But I do think you may be overstating how bad things were on the English FC scene, or else ignoring the signs that they're not quite so bad now.
