Chanteyranger: Indeed it is, sort of like fishing without having to sit in a cold boat. Where I lived in Washington there were about ten of us who would meet by chance at one of our favorite " fishing holes" a couple of times weekly. The nice thing was that we were mostly (but not always) looking for different kinds of music, so it was friendly, and we had a good time talking about our obsession.
